We were very thankful to have worked with Tom from Perfect Solar Power in the process of fitting solar panels onto the roof our new home. Given this was our first experience with solar energy, he took the time to acquaint us with the ins and outs of the process and was extremely genuine with his advice and quoting before we made any decisions. The team was consistently punctual, accommodating, and flexible throughout the process. Knowing that they had our best interests along the way was a big stress reliever. The installation was speedy, and the finished product is sleek and functions great. The team never made a mess and were always approachable and efficient when they arrived at our home. They responded quickly to our concerns and overall were super easy to work with. We would highly recommend Tom and his specialist team for any jobs relating to solar paneling!
Tom and the team were very easy to deal with through coming up with options, pricing and completing the works. I would highly recommend using them to others.
Wanted to say a huge thankyou to the team at Perfect Power Solar. This was our first switch to solar and Tom and the team explained exactly what we needed, provided a competitive quote and then the installation went to plan. The after installation service has been equally great with follow up calls to see if everything had been running smoothly. We have never been so happy to get our electricity bills!!
The quoting process was easy and clear, with a range of options and alternatives explained (technically but simply) and potential costs advised. This made our decisions easy on which inverter and which panels to go with. The installers were punctual and polite, they explained almost everything they were doing and took the time and care needed to get the installation right and tested everything to perfection before they left, showing us how the system worked. During the work, they were tidy and kept their work areas as clean as possible and cleaned up well after the work was complete. These guys are very easy to deal with and very professional.
Off Grid Solar FAQs
I have a generator in the shed, can I hook it up?
Yes, you can hook up your generator to the off-grid solar system, in an ideal scenario the system will only ever use a generator if absolutely necessary during periods of low solar energy production, the goal is to design and size the setup appropriately to meet your energy needs.
Can I install the inverter / storage outside?
Yes! We use IP65 (or higher) rated enclosures fully protecting the equipment… In terms of the panels they are typically on the roof or on a ground-mounted system.
Can it be installed on the grid?
Off-grid solar systems are designed for properties without access to the electricity grid. If you have access to the grid, you may consider a grid-tied solar system.
Do any rebates apply to the system?
As long as the inverter is CEC certified STC incentives (rebate) applies! We only use CEC certified inverters in our designs so there will always be money back on the system.
Can it deliver 3 Phase power?
Absolutely! It depends on the specific off-grid solar system you have installed. Some off-grid solar systems are designed to deliver single-phase power, while others can deliver three-phase power. If you require three-phase power we will work that out with you.
Can I expand it down the track?
Yes, off-grid solar systems can be expanded over time to meet changing energy needs. This may involve adding additional solar panels, batteries, or other components to the system.
